Abstract
In the areas damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake, it is an urgent need to provide employment opportunities. Unfortunately, however, the supply chain of fishing industry, which was important there, has broken down yet. This results in high unemployment rate. By examining the restoration process of other industries' supply chains including distribution and automobile industries, this paper concludes that the fishing industry's supply chain could be restored by concentrating their resources into particular business areas with the outside support from the central and local governments and stakeholders concerned.
