Abstract
本稿は学部選択及び文理選択に関して、大学生へのふりかえり調査をもとに個人の選好や期待賃金が選択行動にどのような影響を与えているかを検証した。文理選択及び国公立、私立大学の選択に関しての2段階のrecursive bivariate probitモデルでの推定と学部選択に関してmultinomial logitモデルでの推定を行い、標本の偏りを母集団割合と標本割合の比をweightとして修正を行った。高校時代の科目の選好を細かく制御すると、文理選択において性差が小さくなり、また幼少期の行動・選好の影響は媒介されて小さくなるものの一部の理系的活動は影響を残し続ける結果となった。個人の経済状況や能力による制約の為、個人は文理選択を行う前に国公立、私立大学の選択を行い、また国公立大学を選択することが理系を選択することに影響を与えているという結果を得た。
