Please provide academic research outcomes to HERMES-IR. Doctoral theses, working papers, main achievements and reports for grants-in aid for scientific research that are listed on researcher’s database can be deposited immediately. Please feel free to contact us.

1. Prepare electronic file

Please prepare electronic file of your research outcome. Any format is acceptable.
Most major global publishers and academic associations allow “author final draft” to be preserved at the institutional repository of author’s affiliation.
More publishers in Japan now admit deposit of “VoR” (version of record) at the institutional repository of author’s affiliation.
As general rule, academic papers are stored in PDF format. Contact us if you wish to store your research outcome in a different format.

2. Fill out license agreement.

Please check “requirements” (See PDF file) and complete license agreements 【license agreements download (Excel) /example (PDF)】.
Before depositing research, please be sure to receive copyright agreement from publishers or academic associations. Contact us if there are any problems.
Also, obtain consent from co-author(s) if any.
※For doctoral thesis, please complete “doctoral thesis license agreements”　【license agreements download (Excel)】.

3. Send electronic file with completed license agreement.

Please send electronic file and completed license agreement file by email attachment or in electronic media.

Contents will be given keywords to make the paper searchable, and then stored in HERMES-IR.
