How to use “Universal Viewer” IIIF compatible viewer

• Some materials stored in HERMES-IR are compatible with IIIF (International Image Interoperability Framework).
• Shown below is how to use “Universal Viewer”, IIIF compatible viewer, which is a standard function in HERMES-IR.

①	You can operate this part when multiple thumbnails are registered. You can show/hide thumbnails here.	②	Icons are shown when you move cursor onto the main image. You can enlarge/minimize/rotate image using these icons.

⑤	You can operate this part when multiple thumbnails are registered. You can select how to view materials: gallery mode or standard mode. In gallery mode, thumbnails are displayed in full page. (See image below.)	⑥	Save image. If the image is enlarged, you can also just save the part shown in the viewer.
⑦	Obtain URL for the image. In the “Embed” tab, you can get a code with HTML tag.	⑧	Switch to full screen mode.
⑨	Drag and drop this IIIF icon to import the image to another IIIF compatible viewer.
