Abstract
中日両語とも色彩語彙に富んだ言語である。色彩語彙に関する慣用表現を考察するとき、語彙レベルだけに止まらず、その背後にある文化面の差異も垣間見える。本稿では、中国語と日本語における色彩語彙を帯びる慣用表現のグループ分けを行い、両国語における基本色のイメージの差異を比べながら、色に含められる意味の原点を探る。
